Ricky Rudd 1983 Piedmont Airlines #3 Richard Childress 1/24 Vintage NASCAR Xrare. 1997 Action Racing Collectables 1/24 scale diecast metal collectable bank of #3 Piedmont Airlines sponsored 1983 Chevy Monte Carlo raced by Ricky Rudd in 1983. Ricky raced this Piedmont Chevy in the 1983 NASCAR Winston Cup Series for Richard Childress Racing. This was the last RCR #3 car raced by any driver before Dale Earnhardt took over for the next 17 years.

Ricky would win his first two races in 1983(Riverside and Martinsville) and finished 10th in the final points standings. This car is a black window bank with the coin slot in the rear window, access hole in the bottom of the chassis and the bank key attached to the bottom of the chassis and was produced by Action Racing Collectables in 1997. It features an opening hood and has a detailed engine(for it's era) and a beautiful finish. I can find no flaws or any touch-ups. The box is in good condition with a minor wear and a couple minor creases. It comes from a smoke-free environment.
